Located at Ripa di Porta Ticinese, 2, 20143 Milano MI, this charming eatery is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in unique and delicious Italian street food. The concept behind Trapizzino is simple but genius-combining the flavors of traditional Italian cuisine with the convenience of a sandwich. The result? A mouthwatering, handheld treat that has taken Milan by storm.

One of the standout features of Trapizzino Milano | Navigli is its diverse and inventive menu. It’s not your typical sandwich joint; instead, it offers a variety of “trapizzini,” which are triangular pizza pockets filled with savory fillings. The bread used is soft and slightly chewy, with a perfect crisp on the outside. Each bite is a balance of textures and flavors, from rich sauces to tender meats and fresh vegetables. Whether you're a fan of traditional Italian meats, like slow-cooked pork or beef, or you're looking for something vegetarian, Trapizzino has something for everyone.

What makes this place even more special is its location. The Navigli district is known for its picturesque canals, vibrant nightlife, and bohemian vibe. Trapizzino fits right in, offering a laid-back, yet stylish atmosphere perfect for enjoying a casual meal. The seating area is cozy and welcoming, with an open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work, crafting each trapizzino to perfection. It’s the kind of spot that invites you to relax and savor every bite while watching the world go by on the canals.

The menu at Trapizzino Milano | Navigli offers a range of options, from classics like the “Pollo alla Cacciatora” (chicken with a rich tomato sauce and herbs) to more contemporary creations. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the “Baccala alla Vicentina,” a Venetian-style cod that’s stewed in olive oil and served with a soft, pillowy trapizzino. Each trapizzino is filled to the brim with flavorful fillings, making it a satisfying and hearty meal.

One thing that sets Trapizzino Milano | Navigli apart from other places in Milan is the emphasis on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, seasonal produce, as well as carefully selected meats and cheeses. This commitment to quality is evident in the taste of every dish, which stands out with its authentic flavors and attention to detail. For those who want a quick bite or something more substantial, the menu also includes sides like fried potatoes, salads, and refreshing beverages to complement your meal.

For those with dietary restrictions, Trapizzino offers several options to cater to different needs. There are vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives, ensuring that no one has to miss out on this delicious experience. The staff is always ready to provide helpful recommendations, making it easy to customize your meal based on your preferences.

This place has such a cool concept. It’s perfect for a quick snack, and the flavors were great. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the beef tongue, but their chicken one was absolutely amazing. What really made the experience even better was the service. The two ladies working up front were so kind and welcoming. Honestly, they gave me the best service I had during my entire trip to Italy. There was a bit of a language barrier, but one of them went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. She was polite, sweet, and even had a great sense of humor, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s a great spot to grab something quick, try some unique flavors, and enjoy excellent service. Even if everything on the menu isn’t for you, the experience itself is definitely worth it.

Tasty, affordable snack! I knew I was going to dinner soon so I decided to go with a Parmesan with eggplant. Delicious! There isn't a lot of seating but the trapizzino is easy to eat while standing. Take it across the street and people watch or view the canal. The staff is comfortable communicating in English.

Trapizzinos were SUPER TASTY! If you are looking for a juicy sandwich kinda lunch this is a must go. We had one with chicken and one with meatballs, they were both soo tasty and both the chicken and meatball were super soft. Staff is really kind and helpful, we’re planning to visit again to try other versions. We also tried suppli for the first time here. It was good but we found suppli not to be that special in general. If you already like suppli though, go for it! One trapizzino is 5 euros and a suppli is 2, which is quite a good price. Overall AMAZING

My two friends and I are studying abroad for the semester in Milan, and we’re on a mission to find the best food spots. We stumbled upon Trapizzino by chance, and it turned out to be absolutely incredible. We went to the Navigli location four days in a row, and not only was the food fresh and mouthwatering, but the music was also fantastic. My friends and I each got the meatball with tomato sauce placed into warm bread, and it was so amazing every time. We also tried the creamy chicken! We’ll definitely be coming back throughout the rest of our semester! The staff was lovely, and despite the long lines, the food came out quickly.

I would have missed this gem if Chocolatini (next door) had been open. Since I couldn’t have a meal of chocolate, I thought hmm I’ll get a Suppli at Trapizzino. (We had just been to Palermo and I loved suppli.) But when I went inside and saw the chicken cacciatore favolosa I quickly changed my mind. I also ordered the polpetta al sugo favolosa and they were stupendous! It’s like a folded pizza crust pocket with an overstuffed filling. If you are hungry and need something filling and flavorful take a metro, a boat or walk to the navigali district and get fed well! The manager was friendly and from Rome and wanted to make sure everyone who came in the door was relaxed, enjoyed themselves and left happy. I definitely left happy - with a full stomach and hand as I ordered a chocolate torte portare via. It was pure Chocolate heaven! Grazie Mille!

It is perfect for what it is, and you must try it at least once! Some strange triangles of pizza dough filled with a spoonful of what I'd call traditional casserole with plenty of choices to choose from. Totally value for money and the vibe is urban and very Italian! Delicious and cheap aperol spritz also!

Triangle bread crispy crust but soft inside, it takes the meat sauce quite well. I took the spicy beef stew.. incredible! Staffs are friendly and helpful. Speaks English.

Much nicer people and friendlier service than the sister restaurant in Porta Romana. This time we only had the Suppli, my friend had the classic, I had the special of the day - borrangini alici mozzarella, which was fantastic!
